A massive Stainless Steel body, with a solid Brass base. The great thing about this tool is, that it exerts a consistent amount of force on each key at the same distance along the keys. The center pin is slotted underneath and is fully adjustable. The top edge of the pin shows the dip is correct when it feels flush with the top of the float. The float is made of lightweight aluminum. The front ears rest the tool just to the front of the key for consistent location. Just a little practice, and you should know the right amount of punchings to change. Setup is very easy, just measure the distance from the top edge of the pin, to the top edge of the brass base, using a 6 inch rule or verniers.
