Leading Press

A sturdy press constructed of dense
ply and thick tough plastic, can be
mounted to your workbench for a
stabil permanent ready to use
fixture in your shop. Much lighter
than the (imported) cast arbor
presses, but still very rugged for
key leading!

The key is held in place between
the adjustable dies, insert a lead,
and gently expand it into the key
with the ram. Very Controllable!
Lower stainless dies are adjustable
and the platen lifts by hand under
spring tension, as it's rotated.
Upper Brass dies in the ram,
change over from 3/8, to 1/2"
quickly. The lever position can be
adjusted minutely for comfort.
